Your Mission
Traversals is looking for experienced Full Stack Software Engineers (FSSEs) with innovative problem-solving skills fueled by a desire to help design, build, and scale our software products.

The mission of an FSSE is to design and build capabilities that let users visualize and interact with their data to meet their analytical needs. To achieve that mission, FSSEs are involved in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle: idea generation, user interviews, planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration.
Your Profile
  • Over 2+ years of experience working with software development and modern programming languages, e.g. Java, JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g. with Apache HBase or Apache Cassandra and with Graph databases, e.g. Neo4j and TigerGraph.
  • Experience with modern software stacks, e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop.
  • Experience in Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS and GraphQL.
  • Experience in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
  • Experience with automated testing. Knowledge of when and what to test.
  • Experience in API development.
  • Interest in DevOps, not shy to reach out for terminal. You are willing to build software in a “You build it, you run it” manner. Ideally, experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes).
  • Proactive problem solver. You leave code and processes in a better shape than when you first encountered them.
  • Passionate about working with talented teammates. Your heart beats for receiving and giving feedback, to grow both personally and as an engineer.
  • Interest and passion to learn and experiment with new technologies.
  • Deep understanding of agile principles and values.
  • Very strong written and spoken English skills.
